Malta’s COVID-19 Active Cases Now Stand at 2,678

 

Following 3,871 swab tests which were carried out, 175 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours, while 216 people recovered. This brings Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases to 2,678.

Meanwhile, Malta’s death toll is currently 316 after an 89-year old female who was COVID-19 positive died at St Thomas Hospital in the past 24 hours.

 

 

As to what regards the National COVID-19 vaccination programme, till yesterday 28,048 people have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from a total of 79,624 vaccine doses which were administered so far.

Malta has so far registered 22,657 COVID-19 cases, since the 7th March 2020, with a total of 19,663 recoveries so far.
