Malta’s biggest Esports tournament of 2019 has kicked off.
A prize fund of $300,000 is up for grabs at the CS: GO Champions Cup in St Julian’s, as some of the world’s best Esports teams do battle in Malta over the next four days.
The event is being held at the Intercontinental Arena Conference Centre with free entry on Thursday and Friday.
You can also watch the finals live on Saturday and Sunday.

Who is taking part?
Gaming teams include G2 Esports from France, ENCE from Finland, Furia Team Spirit from Russia, Movistar Riders of Spain, Germany’s BIG as well as Hard Legion from Russia.
Where is it happening?
The Intercontinental Arena Conference Centre in St Julian’s from Thursday 19 December to Sunday 22 December.
Where can I get tickets?
Entry to the event on the first two days is free, with an entry fee of €20 a day on Saturday and on Sunday, and a combined price of €30 if you buy a ticket for Saturday and Sunday.
