Members of the Armed Forces of Malta are on a new mission – to grow moustaches for Movember.
Maltese soldiers, sailors and air personnel are doing their bit for the campaign by leaving their facial hair alone for the entire month of November.
Movember aims to raise awareness about men’s health conditions, including mental health, prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male suicide.
Movember Foundation director Charlotte Webb said the annual campaign makes a real difference around the world.
She told 89.7 Bay: ‘Every single person supporting men’s health is important – the more funds we raise and the more awareness we spread this Movember, the less likely men are to die before their time.
‘By engaging with men wherever they are, and understanding what works best, we’re helping make change happen sooner, before it’s too late.’
All for a good cause, raising money for men’s health, millions of men sport moustaches for the entire month.
