The amount of active COVID-19 Cases in Malta have gone down to 9, for the first time since March. In the daily update on the Health Ministry’s Facebook page it was announced that 1 new case was registered in the past 24 hours while 2 more people recovered. Despite registering a total of 673 cases, Malta’s numbers have been among the lowest in the EU throughout the pandemic, with the R-Factor currently standing at approximately 0.3 – Malta is the EU country with the least amount of active cases.
