Malta’s Active COVID-19 Cases Decrease Slightly as 201 New Cases are Registered and 345 Recover

Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases have decreased slightly, and currently stand at 3,178 after 201 new COVID-19 cases were registered overnight, while 345 people recovered, following 3,946 swab tests which were carried out.

Meanwhile, no COVID-19-related deaths were registered in the past 24 hours, which leaves Malta’s COVID-19 death toll at 334.

As to what regards the National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 97,864 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered, of which, 32,862 were second doses.

In a year, Malta has so far registered 24,599 COVID-19 cases, 21,087 of which have recovered.
