Malta’s Active COVID-19 Cases Decrease as 248 New Cases are Registered

248 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours, while 390 people recovered, following 4,470 swab tests which were carried out. This brings Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases down to 3,035.

Meanwhile, Malta’s COVID-19 death toll currently stands at 335 after an 88-year old man died at his private residence while COVID-19 positive.

As to what regards the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 101,776 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered, of which, 34,181 were second doses.
