Malta’s Active Cases Now Stand At 522


After 1,992 swab tests which were carried out in the past 24 hours, 24 new COVID-19 cases were registered while 65 people recovered. This brings Malta’s Active COVID-19 cases down to 522, as the downward trend of the past week seems to be continuing.



Meanwhile, no deaths were registered overnight, maintaining Malta’s COVID-19 death toll at 411.


As to what regards the COVID-19 National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday, 288,797 doses were administered, of which, 90,173 were 2nd doses.
