It seems like anything anyone can talk about right now, all around the world, is the ongoing Australian bush-fires, and rightly so.
Over the past week, the Australian bush-fires have reached a whole new level of danger, pushing countless amount of people out of their homes, and leading various species to extinction.
And while Australia is miles away, Malta is still coming together to do whatever we can to provide a helping hand. And here’s how you can do your bit!
People from all over the island have been urged to donate whatever they can to the cause.
Maltese influencers have been sharing links through their stories, for anyone who can donate.
There was one Maltese make-up artist in particular who took things on a whole new level of awareness, after he created a make-up look to perfectly represent what’s going on in Australia at the moment.

Prayers towards Australia.. 🇦🇺 – “Nearly half a billion animals in Australia’s New South Wales state have been killed by raging wildfires in the last couple months, and the devastating death toll is expected to rise. Roughly 480 million mammals, birds and reptiles have been affected since bushfires started in September, according to ecologists from the University of Sydney, who add that the actual number is likely much higher’” – This is such a critical, sad time for everyone especially Australians. Please help out through donations and funds as much as possible!! Please share for awareness, my love towards brighter days for everyone 💔 . . . . . . . #australia #australians #prayforaustralia #silouettemakeup #sadmakeup #donate #donatetoaustralia #koalas #kangaroos #wildfires #prayersneeded #darkmakeup #australiafires #mehron #deathtoll #death #wildfireseason #disasters #sharethemessage #shareyourstory #CNN #BBC #makeupworldwide
And because us Maltese find any reason to party, especially if it’s for a good cause, a party is being held this Friday at Beach Haven with proceeds and donations going towards the Australian bush-fire cause.
You can find more details about this party by following this link.
Will you be giving a helping hand to Australia?
