Malta is set for six days of wet weather that could include thunder and strong winds, weather experts have warned.
But the good news is the rain clouds are expected to clear just in time for next weekend.
The Met Office in Luqa said the weather is predicted to take a turn for the worse on Sunday evening, with showers forecasts.
By Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the showers are expected to turn thundery.
The weather will also be windy, with easterly and north-easterly winds reaching up to force 7 strengths.
Thursday and Friday will see calmer weather in Malta and Gozo with a mix of sunny spells and showers.
Despite the rain, temperatures are expected to remain warm this week, ranging from highs of 27 degrees celcius to lows of 18.
