According to a new survey, Malta is the hardest working country in the world, with 91% of workers logging 49 or more hours per week, the highest rate among all countries studied!

 

 

 

 

A Business Name Generator study examined global data on average weekly hours worked in each country and the percentage of workers working 49 or more hours per week to determine where the hardest working employees are.

 

 

 

 

When looking at the top of the list, it stands out that that those following Malta are mostly third world countries with low pay, such as Bangladesh and The Congo, or countries with a high proportion of low-paid immigrant workers, such as the UAE.
