Malta has been named one of the best value destinations for a beach holiday this summer.
Malta ranked in eighth position in the value league ahead of Majorca, Corfu, Nice, Lisbon, Ibiza and Sorrento.
Sunny Beach in Bulgaria topped the list for 2019, with the Algarve in Portugal following close behind.
Post Office UK released its annual Holiday Costs Barometer for 2019 which details the cheapest places to go for a beach holiday this year.
The cost of a holiday in each destination was calculated using hotel prices, lunch and evening meals, drinks and sunscreen.
