Malta Is The Cheapest Country To Start Driving

An international study has found that Malta is the cheapest country in Europe to become a driver.

It has been found that on average it costs a new driver around €‎900 including lessons and fees to Transport Malta.

On average a driving lesson costs about €‎20, furthermore, a learner usually attends a 1-hour weekly session for a number of months.

One must also not forget fees for learner’s permits, theory test, and the actual driving test itself.
Interestingly once calculated against the average wage and compared to other countries Malta still ranks as the cheapest.
