The Malta International Airshow has been cancelled for the third year in a row.
The Malta Aviation Society, which organises the event, confirmed it had ‘ceased all preparations’ for the 2020 show.
It blamed bosses at Malta International Airport for ‘refusing to provide adequate parking space’.
The last air show took place in 2017.
Last year’s event was cancelled for financial reasons.
The show used to be one of Malta’s most popular summer events, attracting top aerobatic teams such as the RAF Red Arrows, Spain’s Patrulla Águila and Italy’s Frecce Tricolori.
