Love Island Presenter, Caroline Flack Dies Aged 40

Caroline Flack

Shocking news has come in that Caroline Flack, ex-presenter of Love Island and The X-factor took her own life on the 15th of February.

Caroline was meant to host this year’s winter edition of Love Island but was forced to step down after allegations of assault were made by her boyfriend, Lewis Burton. Burton alleged that Flack hit him over the head with a lamp while he was asleep. She denied all allegations and was due to appear in court next month.

After news of the allegations broke, she faced intense UK media backlash and was advised to stay off social media.  She did however say that: “this kind of scrutiny and speculation is a lot to take on for one person on their own”.

Her last post on Instagram was with her dog, captioned only with a heart, just two days ago.
