Local Super Talent Luke Chappell Teams Up With International Label To Release “Lonely Again”

17-year-old singer-songwriter Luke Chappell was launched onto our radars through his 2018 appearance on X-Factor where he placed 5^th. Since then, he has released his debut singles “Head in the Clouds” and “Human”.

“Head in the Clouds” surpassed an incredible 300,000 streams and “Human” dominated local radio stations. In August 2020, he also joined ANT to release cool, summer Bay hit “Hopes”.

And now Luke is back again and this time he’s come ready to destroy our replay buttons. He has signed with aptly named label Bangers Only to release pop alternative “Lonely Again”.  Bangers Only have an impressive following of 86,000 and discovered Luke after his local success.

The lyrics were written on Luke’s birthday and represent the loneliness he felt since he couldn’t be with most of those he cares about due to the pandemic. However, Luke doesn’t see the track as an emotional ballad but instead hopes that listeners relate to it as a “sunset riding down the coast type of song”.

And honestly this is the perfect song to turn up as you’re driving down the coast road at sunset on a fresh autumnal evening. Way to go, Luke!
