We’re likely to see more rain and thunder across Malta and Gozo this week, according to the weather experts.
Forecasters have warned more stormy weather is heading towards the Maltese Islands as a fresh wave of thunderstorms make their way across the Mediterranean.
They said heavy rain is likely until the end of the week, with a chance of thunder and hail in places.
A spokesman for Malta Weather warned: ‘Rain showers which may be thundery at times are still possible in Malta and Gozo until at least this coming Friday as the weather remains unstable across the central Mediterranean.
Andrea Muscat from Maltese Islands Weather added: ‘So far we have seen rain every day since last Friday.
‘There will be further showers that will be heavy, thundery and blustery with a risk of hail at times.’
