Three long years after the release of Jesus is King, Kanye has just dropped Donda, the highly awaited album named after Kanye’s mother.

Donda definitely doesn’t fall short of a stellar line-up. Here’s the full list: JAY-Z, the Weeknd, Jay Electronica, the Lox, Young Thug, the late Pop Smoke, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi, Lil Durk, Lil Yachty, Baby Keem, Playboi Carti, Ty Dolla $ign, Don Toliver, Fivio Foreign, and Chris Brown. Some of the biggest names in production hopped onto the album too, including Mike Dean, E.Vax of Ratatat, 88 Keys, Boi-1da, Swiss Beatz, Wheezy, and Gesaffelstein.

The whopping 27-track studio album include a peculiar introduction to the album with an almost minute long chant of the album title called Donda Chant and closes off with the incredible 11-and-a-half-minute track Jesus Lord pt.2.

The album features many religious-driven tracks, like God Breathed, Praise God, and Jesus Lord (as well as Jesus Lord pt.2). There are four tracks on the album that were given a part two, with the most notable being Jail Pt.2, which witches out JAY-Z’s feature with DaBaby, as well as contributions by Marilyn Manson.

The album dropped in a hugely eventful part of Kanye’s life, spanning from his recent decision to change his name to “Ye” to his application to divorce Kim K. Now, whether she was sending a message or genuinely made a mistake, Kim K took to Instagram to post screenshots of her favourite tracks on the new album.

However, 4 out of 5 of the tracks were left muted, making audiences everywhere speculate if this was done on purpose or not. Although, Kim did pop up at a Donda event in Chicago in her wedding dress to re-enact their wedding, so maybe they’re figuring things out after all and Kim just forgot to listen to the album with the volume on!

In true Kanye fashion, the album merch has already been announced, and will be “Engineered by Balenciaga”. With an almost all-black line-up, in-tune with the completely black cover art of the album, these pieces definitely scream Kanye. U.S. citizens can ever order a copy of the album for an additional $10 with every purchase. You can check out the minimalistic merch at
