Following nine years of several iconic bangers and a handful of No. 1 hits, Jesy Nelson has decided to leave Little Mix, as the girl group has just announced on Twitter on Instagram.
After an amazing 9 years together Jesy has made the decision to leave Little Mix. This is an incredibly sad time for all of us but we are fully supportive of Jesy.

This news came a month after Nelson announced that she was taking an ‘extended’ break from the pop group due to personal ‘medical reasons’. Writing on Instagram, the singer shared that the band was an incredible time for her, but she feels it’s now time to ‘embark on a new chapter’.
She explained that overall, it took a toll on her mental health and she found “the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard”.
Despite how sad such a time and decision are, her now-former bandmates shared that they are ‘fully supportive of Jesy’ and stand beside her completely. They explained, “we love her very much and agree that it is so important that she does what is right for her mental health and well-being”
Understanding that this is also sad for their fans, they thank their fans for all their love and support and shared, “We are still very much enjoying our Little Mix journey and the 3 of us are not ready for it to be over”.
