In their statement, the two explained, ‘We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects’.
‘We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have is to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.’, they added.
Last month, J Lo clapped back at rumours of a split with the former MLB star in a cryptic video in which she referenced the flurry of speculations. Less than 24 hours after news broke in early March that the two had allegedly split, they released a joint statement denouncing it.
Meanwhile, the couple got engaged back in March of 2019 after dating for two years. Now, Lopez is currently filming the movie Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic.
