Good news for James Bond fans!

In a recent interview with Express UK, Martin Campbell, the director of “Casino Royale,” shared that Henry Cavill was a potential candidate for the role of James Bond if Daniel Craig hadn’t secured the position in the 2006 reboot of the 007 franchise.

The film successfully rejuvenated the Bond series following the controversial “Die Another Day” in 2002 and marked the beginning of Craig’s acclaimed portrayal of Bond. Campbell had high praise for Cavill’s audition, commending his impressive appearance and acting skills.

However, Campbell noted that Cavill appeared slightly youthful at the time, which influenced the final casting decision.
