It’s back! Is this the tallest Christmas tree in Malta?

The biggest Christmas tree in the Maltese Islands is back – and looks absolutely amazing!

The festive lights on a steep hill near Kercem are so bright you can even see them from the window seat of a plane.

At a staggering 180 metres, the Christmas tree is made up of around 4,000 green, yellow and white lights.

The tree design has been laid out at Ghar Ilma near the sleepy hamlet of Santa Lucija and really makes the Gozo countryside sparkle!

Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana announced the return of the tree last week.

She posted on Facebook: ‘Come and enjoy our Christmas in Gozo activities. Much more to see and enjoy.’

Isn’t it just magical?
