Dr Lydia Abela and Giorgia Mae were in Gozo this morning to inaugurate the first Eco-Friendly Feeding Machines for stray animals, together with Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri. While this is a commendable initiative for our beloved animals, the Abela Family did not return to Malta empty-handed, as after the event, they adopted a dog to take back home with them, from Gozo’s Animal Welfare.
Malta, meet Buttons!
Buttons is the latest addition to the other pets which the Abela Family already have which include, 2 cats, hamsters, 2 dogs, a Chinchilla, an adopted stray kitten and a tortoise.
Lydia Abela took the opportunity to reiterate her commitment in encouraging people to adopt animals, and give them a loving home, and the care which they deserve.
Commenting on Social Media, Animal Activist Moira Delia said that Georgia Mae looks super happy now that she managed to adopt a dog at last – followed by #AdoptDontShop.
