YouTuber Jake Paul, whose brother Logan Paul will fight against Floyd Mayweather in February, has pulled no punches in calling out Conor McGregor with his latest bid, uploaded today on his Instagram, involving some $50 million, and, well, one massive foul-mouthed rant!
The YouTuber, who has only stepped into the boxing ring twice professionally, is confident he’s got what it takes to take on ‘The Notorious’ Irish MMA fighter, after just two wins.
Wearing an Irish flag around his neck, Paul told McGregor his team sent him a $50 million cheque (how much money does this guy have?), ‘the biggest fight offer you’ve ever been offered’, in an effort to get him to agree to the fight.
“My team sent you a $50 million offer this morning – $50 million contract (with) proof of funds – the biggest offer you’ve ever been offered, but you’re still scared to fight me, Conor. You’re ducking me because you don’t want to lose to a (expletive) YouTuber. You’re 0-1 as a boxer. I’m 2-0 as a boxer.”
He appeared to further mock McGregor by smoking a cigar, holding a glass of whiskey and wearing the flip-up glasses the MMA fighter has been seen to wear in the past.
If the money didn’t do the trick, it was time for insult-mania, as one expletive comment after the other, Paul just went on and on, even calling his wife a “four”.
Paul also turned his attention to McGregor’s choice of next fight, a rematch against Dustin Poirier on Jan. 23 at UFC 257. He also poked fun at Poirier’s social media following.
“I just came off the eighth biggest pay-per-view event in history, but you want to fight Dustin ‘Prober’ who has less followers on Instagram than my (expletive) dog,” Paul said. “That’s a fact.”
We’re taking a seat and seeing how this will be playing out! Ding, ding, ding!
In the meantime, here’s the full challenge video. Warning: Explicit Language!
