There’s more good news for homeowners in Malta and Gozo.
House prices in the Maltese Islands have risen again.
Property values surged ahead by a massive 6.2 per cent year-on-year, according to new figures.
But the rate of growth in the Maltese property market has slowed slightly in April, May and June.
It was 6.6 per cent in January, February and March.
Across the EU, Hungary saw the steepest annual rise in house prices, up 14 per cent.
Luxembourg was second on 11.4% and Croatia third with property values up 10.4 per cent year-on-year.
Prices in Italy fell by 0.2% per cent.
