Malta is outraged and devastated at the event that took the life of Miriam Pace, victim of a building collapsing in Hamrun earlier this week.
In times like these, we, as a nation, have to come together to show solidarity, and generosity towards the family that lost everything overnight.
Losing a beloved family member, and the place they called home, containing all their possessions … words cannot even begin to describe what this family is going through right now.
Hamrun’s Local Council are now turning towards the generosity of Maltese hearts to help in any way they can.
The Council is collecting money for the family of 54-year-old mother-of-two Miriam Pace who was killed when her home collapsed on Monday.
The money collected will be used by the family for legal assistance and to rebuild their life since they had “lost everything”.
The BOV bank account was set up after the victim’s husband, Carmel, had given the council permission to proceed.
