Helping hand for Malta’s homeless this Christmas

Christmas is all about giving.

And now Malta’s homeless are being offered a helping hand this festive season.

Malta Property Auctioneers has teamed up with six organisations who offer food and support to rough sleepers and people in emergency and temporary accommodation, including the YMCA in Valletta and Dar Tal-Providenza in Siggiewi

Sarah De Cesare Dunkerley from the property firm told 89.7 Bay: ‘Over the years, we have successfully helped thousands of people find a home but we are entirely aware that there are many out there who cannot afford the luxury of a roof over their heads.

‘This is our opportunity to help just some of those people in ways we normally couldn’t do with our day to day work and a way for us all to recognise the hard work these organisations do to improve the lives of so many individuals.’
