Harry and Meghan’s Instagram following has soared to more than 9 million followers.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s social media account is on the verge of overtaking William and Kate’s – just three months after it was launched.
Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, hit 9 million followers at the weekend.
Over the past few weeks Harry and Meghan’s fanbase has closed in on the Cambridges’ following, with Kensington Royal now only ahead of them by 500,000 followers.
On Saturday, the Sussex Royal account unveiled a picture of Archie’s christening at Windsor Castle.

The post racked up more than 2.6 million likes, and showed the Harry, Meghan and Archie alongside Charles, Camilla, Doria, Diana’s sisters Jane and Sarah as well as Kate and William.
The post was also shared to Kate and William’s Instagram account, Kensington Royal, where it racked up over 1.2 million likes.
In April, Harry and Meghan’s Instagram account broke the world record for the fastest time to gain one million followers on Instagram.
The profile racked up a whopping 150,000 followers in the 30 minutes after it was launched.
By the following morning had racked up a record-breaking 2.2 million followers.
