In a tweet this morning, Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne announced that no new COVID-19 Cases have been registered in the past 24 Hours.
Bonġu 🌈. Għax qbadna t-triq it-tajba mill-bidu, ir-responsabilità u s-sagrifiċċji ta’ ħafna qed jagħtu l-frott. Ebda każ ġdid ta’ #covid_19 il-bieraħ. Moħħna hemm ħa nkomplu ngawdu s-suċċess. pic.twitter.com/Tpft6NXOgf

It is yet to be announced whether more people have recovered over the past 24 hours, however, this is great news to wake up to this morning.
Since the COVID-19 Outbreak started in Malta, on the 7th March 2020, this is the third “zero-day”. In the tweet, DPM Fearne urged for everyone to continue being careful and diligent.
Ironically, this announcement comes a few hours after a nation-wide uproar following scenes of crowds in Floriana, celebrating the BOV Premier League win.
