Gozo Channel has been forced to make changes to its timetable after a ferry crashed into a jetty at Mgarr Harbour.
The company said the MV Malita ‘suffered some damage’ in the accident on Monday afternoon.
No-one was injured however the ferry could be out of action for several days while repairs are carried out.
The accident means that only two ferries are operating services between Malta and Gozo.
A spokesman for Gozo Channel told : ‘Morning ferry trips scheduled from Mgarr and Cirkewwa from 5.30am and 6.00am will not be affected until 3.45pm.
‘After 3.45pm all trips will be every 45 minutes as indicated on the Gozo Channel website.
‘The only cancelled trips are the 2.15am from Mgarr and 2.45am from Cirkewwa.’
Gozo Channel apologised for any inconvenience.
