Formula 1 has announced that it is set to launch the F1 Esports Series Women’s Wildcard, a female-only qualification route. This way, F1 teams can scout additional talents to add to their rosters for this year’s Pro Championship!

From May 3 to 9, female drivers will get the opportunity to compete against one another on the official F1 2020 video game. The winning participant will then be invited to take part in the upcoming Pro Exhibition.
In the Pro Exhibition, the winning participant and the next generation of esports drivers will be tested for the ‘ten F1 Esports teams to assess and potentially choose for their Pro Championship rosters’.
Both the Pro Exhibition show and the Women’s Wildcard qualifier will be available for to watch through F1’s official YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and Huya channels on May 27!
Meanwhile, the Pro Championship commences this coming autumn.
