The Facebook weather page ‘Aġġornament tat-temp’ reported that the first heatwave of the summer is hitting the Maltese Islands this weekend.
With temperatures as high as 38°C on Sunday and 40°C on Monday, the page warned everyone about being safe when doing BBQs and when throwing cigarettes so as not to create fires.
