According to reports, a football fan and influencer from Argentina who exposed herself during the World Cup final apparently dodged punishment from Qatar when worries about her well-being were voiced.

Because public nudity is illegal in Qatar, her supporters are worried for her safety.

The customary abaya robe was not necessary for non-Qatari ladies to wear in order to watch the competition. Travelers within the Gulf State were required to cover their shoulders and knees at all times and were not permitted to wear constricting apparel.
