Ed Sheeran smashes another online streaming record

Ed Sheeran has set a new online streaming record.

The 89.7 Bay favourite has racked up more than 69 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

The milestone follows the release of the singer’s new album ‘No.6 Collaborations Project’.

It features the likes of Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Khalid, Stormzy, Eminem, and many more.

This new record isn’t the first that Ed has broken.

His last album Divide attracted 56 million streams on the day of release, while his massive hit Shape of You set the record for best one day streams for a track at the time of release, topping 10 million streams.

Tracks from ‘No.6 Collaborations Project’ claimed five of the Top 10 tracks worldwide on Spotify on the day of its release and the single ‘I Don’t Care’ featuring Justin Bieber was Spotify’s second biggest song worldwide on the day it came out.

‘No.6 Collaborations Project’ is out now.
