A catholic youth group have managed to raise €14,000 in aid of Miriam Pace’s family, who lost their home overnight, in less than 24 hours.
ĊAMYouths set up the fund on Tuesday. They expressed their sincere condolences with the Pace family and promised their “continuous support in these trying times”.
In the past couple of days many have stepped up to help the family in any way they can.
Hamrun’s Local Council have also turned towards the generosity of Maltese hearts to help in any way they can.
Distinct Homes and Forestals have offered to furnish the rebuilt home of Miriam Pace’s family completely free of charge.
Local family business Your Blinds Malta are also offering the family free blinds and curtains once they settle down in a new home.
Miriam’s funeral is being held on Thursday at 2pm at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Valletta.
