Anyone who was undergoing driving-ed before the Covid-19 pandemic struck can breath a breath of fresh air, as from the 1st of june, theory and practical test to obtain your driver’s licence will be re-instated.
These will both be continued with a new set of measures accompanying them to ensure everyone’s safety.
Tests for all categories, which means, category A,B,C,D and professional competence will be up and running.
New measures include:
- only the examiner and the student will be allowed in one vehicle.
- All windows must be rolled down.
- Examiners must be wearing a visor or mask at all times.
- Vehicles must undergo a thorough process of disinfecting before each test.
Transport Malta officials will check each candidate, teacher and examiner’s temperature before the test begins.
