An investigation has been launched after a bus overturned in Attard.
The accident happened on Mdina Road at around 11.30pm on Sunday night.
Malta Police said there were no passengers on board and the driver was treated for shock.
No other vehicles were involved.
Malta Public Transport insisted safety was its number one priority.

A spokeswoman for the bus company told 89.7 Bay: ‘The bus was not carrying any passengers and no pedestrians or other individuals were injured.
‘Safety is a top priority for the company and an internal investigation was launched immediately in order to identify the cause of the accident.
‘Over the last three years the number of accidents have shown a consistent year-on-year reduction.
‘The company has, in fact, implemented various measures to this effect including, most importantly, a significant investment in the training scheme for drivers.
‘We also introduced a programme where we reward drivers with a consistent, positive track record in safe driving.
‘Malta Public Transport would like to thank its employees and the emergency services for their prompt and effective reaction.’
