Disney Studios Announce ‘Enchanted’ Sequel

The president of the production at Disney Studios, Sean Bailey, recently announced that we will be getting an Enchanted Sequel titled Disenchanted. Like the original movie, the sequel will also star Amy Adams and will debut on Disney+.

The 2007 live-action movie, which was a spoof on Disney animated princess musicals, was a big hit. It tells the tale of a fish-out-of-the-water story of a cartoon princess, Giselle, who is suddenly submerged in modern-day in the big city of New York.

The musical-romance movie was narrated by the iconic Julie Andrews and ended up grossing over 340 million dollars worldwide. It was also nominated for three Oscars in the Best Song category for Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz’s tunes; Happy Working Song, So Close, and That’s How You Know.
