Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo was presented with the ‘Player of The Century’ 2001-2020 Globe Soccer Award by HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.

The five-time UEFA Champions League Winner, four with Real Madrid, one with Man Utd., led the Portugal national team to win their first-ever chief title, the UEFA EURO 2016.
Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, former player Ronaldinho, and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah were also nominated at the awards, but the Portuguese surpassed all to claim the award.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski won the Player of the Year award, and the club’s coach, Hansi Flick, bagged the Coach of the Year award. Bayern Munich also won the Club of the Year award.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola also won the Coach of the Century award and Spanish giants Real Madrid won the Club of the Century award during the event.
