Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne has tested positive for Coronavirus, a statement from Clarence House has just confirmed.
The statement states that “he has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual.”
Prince Charles has been self-isolating in Scotland with the Duchess of Cornwall – who has tested negative for coronavirus.
Prince Charles had met Prince Albert of Monaco, who has also tested positively for the virus, just days after his positive test. In fact, Prince Albert’s diagnosis came just nine days after he was pictured siting opposite Prince Charles at a WaterAid charity event in London.
The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing.
