Giving today’s medical update about the COVID-19 Situation in Malta, the Superintendent of Public Health, Prof Charmaine Gauci announced that after 1,241 tests which were carried out in the past 24 hours, 3 New Cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed, whilst an elderly man who was previously in Intensive Care using also a ventilator has recovered enough that will be discharged from hospital today.
A quick look at Malta’s numbers after today’s update, shows that the total of cases in Malta now stands at 506, with 434 persons who have already recovered, and 5 senior-citizens who have died after contracting the virus. The total of active cases now stands at 67.
