After 1,839 tests which were carried out in the past 24 hours, 20 New COVID-19 Cases were registered while 2 people recovered. This brings Malta’s Active Cases to 249. This includes 16 positive cases which were reported yesterday, and which relate to migrants who were rescued by the Maltese Authorities in the past days. Moreover, in today’s update, the Health Ministry said that 9 cases form part of previously known clusters or are related to previously known cases, while the rest are sporadic. The Ministry also said that the majority of sporadic cases did not have contact with people while they were symptomatic.
