COVID-19: 19 New Cases in the last 24 Hours



19 new positive cases have been confirmed in the past 24 hours. This was confirmed by the Superintendent of Public Health, Professor Charmaine Gauci. This brings the total of COVID-19 Cases to 129.

Professor Gauci once again appealed to everyone to continue following the regulations in place, and also urged employers to make it possible for their workers to work from home.

Meanwhile, Malta’s testing rate remains one of the highest in Europe
In fact, Malta is the third highest country Carrying swab tests in the EU, with over three thousand tests carried so far.
As the testing frequency rate has been increased, two new swabbing centres will soon be fully functional in Gozo and in Pembroke.
