This will be followed by the reaction from the New Leader of the Opposition on the 26th October, and the Prime Minister’s Reply the following day.

During the same meeting, Hon Robert Cutajar, Whip for the Opposition also announced that Dr Bernard Grech shall be sworn in as MP on Tuesday and will take the Oath of Office at Leader of the Opposition on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Speaker of the House Anglu Farrugia stated that MPs will be advised to wear a mask when in Parliament, apart from when they would be making a speech, with Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne clarifying that he would be seeking advice from the relevant health authorities as to what measures need to be in place when all the MPs would need to attend for a vote to be taken.
