Comedy legend John Cleese has been spotted enjoying a quick three-day break in Malta.
The Fawlty Towers star was snapped wining and dining at two top restaurants in Valletta and St Julian’s.
The 77-year-old, who appeared in Monty Python and Harry Potter, spent time at Acqua Terre e Mare in St Julians, where he enjoyed some exquisite Mediterranean food.
He was also spotted at Da Pippo Trattoria in Valletta, where he reportedly ordered lamb chops for lunch.
The actor recently launched the new BBC comedy Hold The Sunset.
It has been described as the most successful comedy launch on BBC One in more than three years.
After rising to fame as a member of the Monty Python comedy troupe, his popularity soared when he took on the role of Basil Fawlty in the 1970s sitcom Fawlty Towers, set in a family-run hotel in Torquay.
