To show support to Red Nose Day USA, Coldplay are set to play a short set live on TikTok.
This will be Coldplay’s first ever live concert on TikTok and it is happening to show suppost at the USA’s annual campaign to end child poverty.
This is no news for Coldplay as they used their platforms several times to help this initiative.
Infact in 2015, the band created a 12-minute comedy sketch. Game of Thrones: The Musical featuring the cast of the series and it has attracted more than 30 million views.
Frontman Chris Martin spoke highly of the Red Nose Day initiative. He stated that they do incredible things around the world to keep the children safe, healthy, educated and empowered. He added that they are really proud and happy to be able to support their work through their performances.
Alison Moore, CEO of Comic Relief US stated that she is excited to have Coldplay on board and to give fans all over the world this incredible experience.
She added that this is a huge opportunity for Red Nose Day to raise the much-needed fund and to break new ground with their first-ever TikTok fundraiser.
The concert will be streamed on TikTok on May 24 at 7pm BST
