We all know Chris Hemsworth is one of the biggest names in showbiz.
But now his star power has officially been recognised.
He’s getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Thor actor – who went from a small-time Australian soap star to Marvel Universe superhero – is among the next group of 35 celebrities selected for the honour.
Chris, 35, joins other high-profile figures from television, film and music on the latest Hall of Fame list, including Julia Roberts, Christina Applegate, Dr Phil McGraw and Cindy Crawford.
The actor has come a long way since leaving Aussie soap Home and Away in 2007.
He is best known for playing superhero Thor in the Avengers franchise but he has also starred in hit films such as Star Trek, The Cabin in the Woods, Rush and Snow White and the Huntsman.
Dates for the star ceremonies have yet to be announced.
