Just three years after their secret marriage, WAP Rapper Cardi B has filed for divorce from her rapper husband Offset. Cardi B filed documents in the Superior Court in Fulton County, Georgia under the couple’s real names – Belcalis Almanazar, and Kiari Cephus – according to TMZ.
Cardi had married Offset in a secret ceremony in 2017, and together they share one daughter, Kulture, aged 2, however, what seemed to be a blossoming romance, is now over, as it is being claimed that he ‘pretty much’ cheated throughout the marriage.
A source has in fact told People that ‘Offset has pretty much cheated the entire time but Cardi looked the other way because of the baby. She also didn’t want to be embarrassed. But she’s had enough.’
The court documents moreover show that there are no prospects for reconciliation and that the relationship is ‘irretrievably broken,’ adding also that Cardi hopes that the divorce will be settled by agreement of the parties.
Cardi B is also seeking primary physical custody as well as legal custody of the couple’s child with TMZ also saying that she is also seeking child support.
Despite what appeared to be an amorous relationship on social media, Offset’s last appearance on his wife’s Instagram was on August 20 when she shared a clip from his video, Need It.
