Let’s start by going back a month, a Cardi B filed for divorce after three years of marriage with Offset. At that time, she stated that “I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again. I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.”
Cut to a few days ago, Cardi B’s 28th Birthday Party. The Migos rapper, 28, surprised his estranged wife with a brand-new Rolls-Royce truck and in return, she planted a huge smooch on him. The luxe vehicle reportedly has their daughter Kulture’s name embroidered on the seats.
All of this led to Cardi B’s fans judging her on her relationship choices, something which made Cardi B delete her Twitter account. On a live stream she said that she is deleting twitter because “a whole bunch of 15-year-olds telling me how to live my life like I’m motherf***ing Ariana Grande or something, like I came from Disney or something.”
While the couple’s on and off relationship and what happened at Cardi B’s birthday party may mean that the two are now together again, this isn’t the first time that Cardi B distances herself from social media. Back in February 2019 when she deactivated her Instagram account because of backlash after her Grammy win.
