Cardi B has postponed a series of concerts so she can recover from cosmetic surgery.
The Grammy-winning rapper, 26, is said to be ‘very disappointed’ after having to cancel shows in Maryland and Texas.
The events have been pushed back to September.
A source told E0nline that the singer was forced to drop all her planned performances for the remainder of May to ‘focus on recovering’.
They added: ‘After her plastic surgery, Cardi B jumped right back into her work so she wouldn’t disappoint her fans and wanted fulfill her obligations.
‘But the traveling, flying and the performances took a toll on her body.
‘She’s very disappointed and hates to let her fans down, but she wants to reassure them that she’ll see them in September.’
The singer’s management confirmed: ‘Cardi was overzealous in getting back to work.
‘She didn’t take the time necessary to fully recover from her surgery.
‘She has been given strict doctors orders to pull out of the rest of her performances in May.’
Cardi B’s 89.7 Bay hits include ‘I Like It’ and ‘Please Me’ with Bruno Mars.
