That’s right Bridgerton fans, you’ve got three more seasons on the horizon, as the series’ official Twitter account announced last Tuesday, posting a message from Lady Whistledown, ‘It seems we have a rather special announcement. Bridgerton shall return for seasons three and four. This author shall have to purchase more ink…’
Meanwhile, show creator Shonda Rhimes address the outrage surrounding Page’s departure in a recently published interview, explaining she was ‘really shocked’ by fan response.

Rhimes also confirmed that Page was invited to return for season two cameos, clarifying that his character, the Duke of Hastings, still exists in the wider Bridgerton universe. ‘We didn’t kill him, he’s still alive!’ she added.
Elsewhere, Bridgerton season 2, which will introduce a handful of new cast members, is currently in production.
